Threatnique is a Sydney-based artist on Gadigal land, whose name emerged from years of dedication, countless hours of sharpening techniques, and a unique approach to music. Always seeing things from a different angle, he began to feel like a "threat" with the innovative techniques he was constantly developing—thus, Threatnique was born.

Specializing in classic hip-hop, Threatnique also ventures into various genres, bending them into sonic soundscapes that are both intelligent and groovy. By blending styles and experimenting with genre-bending, he has explored electronic, glitch-infused bass, and IDM, creating immersive soundscapes that invite listeners to embark on unique journeys.

Currently, Threatnique is dedicated to growing the beat culture in Australia through his radio show “Beat Heads” which airs every Sunday on 2ser 107.3FM. The show exclusively showcases Australian beatmakers. Threatnique is Committed to building genuine connections with fans and collaborating with artists locally and globally, Threatnique continues to push the boundaries of musical expression.

With over 10 singles and a debut instrumental album released in 2019, Threatnique has just released “clippings vol 1” a beat tape with ideas, sketches and mpc 2000xl beats which have come to life all this while putting the finishing touches on another full length instrumental album. He actively collaborates with local artists to strengthen Sydney’s vibrant music community and globally to expand into other territories. All of this led to Threatnique winning the 2023 TFS and The Chop Music Beat Battle, Threatnique is actively contributing to community projects, organizing events, strengthening connections and networks and further expanding Australia's beat culture.
